Taste of Nature Pet Foods have been developed with a pets's well-being in mind as we are passionate about pets.

Our aim is to provide quality natural pet food that is not only hypo-allergenic but all animal ingredients are free from artificial colours, flavours or preservatives and all animal ingredients are from one species.

Taste of Nature believe pet foods should only contain natural ingredients and not contain cereals such as wheat (which is associated with causing allergies in many pets).

Our philosophy is quality ingredients makes for a more contented dog or cat with less visits to the vets at an affordable price.

We only support local, independent pet shops so you won’t find Taste of Nature Dog Food in supermarkets or pet superstores.

Research has shown that peptides are more easily absorbed from the digestive tract than intact protein. To maximise the potential beneficial effects of dietary collagen, it is important that the collagen is optimally absorbed.

WHAT ARE PEPTIDES? To understand peptides, we must first understand protein. Proteins are essentially large molecules made up of ‘individual building blocks’ called amino acids.Imagine a long beaded necklace, then imagine it has been scrunched up and tangled to form a tightly-packed ball. The Gastro-Intestinal (GI) tract breaks down these protein strings into more manageable short chains known as peptides to make protein more digestible.The shorter the peptide chain, the more digestible it is, and the less likely it is to cause allergic responses in animals. With Peptide+, we have taken our Freshtrusion® technology and used a technique called ‘enzymatic hydrolysis’, which mimics the natural breakdown in the digestive system to ‘predigest’ the protein into optimally sized peptides.
